We have been guaranteeing our Tuscan supply chain for over 20 years. Whole grain farro keeps the “film” that surrounds the grain intact. This represents a precious source of dietary fiber and mineral substances which would otherwise be partly lost with the pearling process. Whole grain farro also has the natural ability to soak up cooking water, satiating without having feelings of stomach heaviness. Our whole grain farro is good in all seasons: perfect for the preparation of soups, stews and fresh salads, it holds up well when cooked and is characterized by an intense flavor that pairs well with delicate vegetables.
